Minutes 0–15: Lobby, Codes, and Tutorial

Launch SCP Architect X from the official Roblox page (Game ID 14823220100). Load into your private facility slot when possible to avoid public server griefing while learning build controls. Open the Shop menu immediately and navigate to Codes; redeem every active code from our codes page for a cash injection—common rewards include jumpStart-tier bonuses on fresh accounts and milestone codes when available.

Complete or skim the in-game tutorial placing your first SCP chamber, power hookups, and basic scientist desk. Note the red triangle connection tool: select an SCP, click the linker, then attach to a staffed desk with a laptop. Broken connections are the number-one reason beginners earn zero income despite visible tests running.

Familiarize yourself with camera rotation and build mode (B key). Place objects on grid tiles without blocking staff doors. Leave hallway width for Class-D movement later—even if riots seem distant, chokepoints become expensive to fix.

Minutes 15–35: First Income Loop

Prioritize one Safe-class SCP with strong early payout such as SCP-005 or SCP-999 depending on your unlock state. Hire at minimum one scientist and one Class-D inmate. Assign the scientist to the connected desk; confirm the UI shows an active link line without warning icons.

Trigger tests manually at first to observe pacing, then enable automatic scheduling once cash rises. Reinvest first profits into power stability and a medbay or cleanliness furnishings before buying additional SCPs—bonus meters in foundation management multiply income more than raw SCP count early on.

Open the foundation overview tab to monitor cleanliness, safety, and health averages. Neglecting these slides causes hidden penalties that make the game feel "bugged" when payouts shrink. Spend modestly on trash bins, basic security, and cafeteria amenities as NPC needs beta features activate on your account.

Minutes 35–60: Safe Expansion Checklist

Research Multiple Floors only after your ground floor runs autonomously for several minutes without breaches. Premature vertical expansion splits staff pathfinding and drains amenities budget. When ready, duplicate a working wing pattern: SCP chamber, desk cluster, restrooms, and mini cafeteria tile row.

Hire security before adding a second riot-prone SCP. Task force members are late-game luxury; basic security reduces Class-D unrest during learning phases. Keep a cash reserve for emergency repairs after minor breaches—reloading saves time but teaches bad habits.

Bookmark follow-up guides: connect SCPs for linker troubleshooting, research order for node priorities, and NPC needs beta once personnel meters appear. Screenshot your first profitable layout for reference before experimenting wildly.
